Routine Examinations – this involves a general check-up of your mouth, to examine your teeth, gums for signs of tooth decay, gum disease, and other health problems.
Fillings – an amalgam material is usually used to fill holes, (known as cavities) that have formed, usually as a result of tooth decay. Fillings can also be used to repair cracked or broken teeth.
Scale & Polish – this is a basic clean that will usually remove plaque a form of tartar that has built up on your teeth over a period time.
Replacement of mercury fillings to stronger adhesive tooth coloured fillings – This a tooth coloured/white filling can be chosen to match the colour of the teeth, making them a natural-looking alternative to amalgam fillings.
Crowns – are usually used for a tooth that has been broken, or weakened by a lot of decay, a crown (or cap) can be fitted to strengthen it. Crowns are shaped like natural teeth; crowns are usually made of porcelain-like materials.
Bridges - Dental bridges ‘bridge’ the gap created by one or more missing teeth.
A bridge is made up of two crowns for the teeth on either side of the gap and a false tooth/teeth in between. These dental bridges are supported by natural teeth or implants.
